Deniz is here and my apartment is in Kadikoy on the Asian side of Istanbul. It is located in a great location, very central (very close to all kinds of public transportation) and at the same time quiet and peaceful.
This is a boutique hotel. There are 10 apartments in our building and we do our best to make you feel at home.
Kadikoy is the best and most central area of the Asian side of Istanbul. Besides being a convenient place to stay for visitors, it also gives you the chance to experience the local life more than anywhere else in Istanbul. It is very lively even at night, there are lots of cool bars and cafes. It has also become one of the coolest spots in the city with newly opened coffee shops, pubs and handmade craft stores.
My house is very close to all kinds of public transportation. The ferry ports (you can use them to go to Karakoy, Eminonu, Kabatas and Besiktas), bus stops (for many destinations) and the metro station (for traveling on the Asian side) are only 4-5 minutes walk from my house. There are also yellow minibuses (we call them "dolmuş") that run 24/7 between Taksim and Kadikoy and they are also 3 minutes away from the house.
My apartment is close to the long street for shopping, "Kadikoy Bazaar", so markets, pharmacies, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance.
The famous bar street of Kadikoy, "Barlar Sokağı", with many bars and cafes, is only 5 minutes away on foot. It is especially lively on weekends. But also lively at night during the week.
"Moda" is a great neighborhood to explore if you decide to stay with us. It is a few blocks away from our apartment. Moda beach is really nice for a walk during the day, and even in the evenings. The area is lively as there are many restaurants, bars, markets and shops to explore.
My apartment is spacious and bright. The neighborhood is really quiet and peaceful in the evening. We have TV, unlimited internet connection, comfortable sofas, washing machine, iron, hair dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. You can use it all.
